What! A Snake in the House!

Last night as Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Casey, Carey, Meme, and Benji were all sitting around talking and joking, Carey spotted something over by Benji's head. Then the next thing we know Carey was kind of screaming "there's a snake in the house!?" We all were like What?? A snake, yeah yeah you're joking. "Isn't it a little late for an April fool's joke?" and she kept on "no, there really is a snake in the house!" Then we all looked and there really was! So as Grandma and Grandpa were non-challant about the entire thing, Grandma just sitting on the couch telling us to calm down and Grandpa being eager to play with the snake, we were all surprised. As Mom, Carey, and Casey were freaking out, Dad was trying to find something to put it in. But by the time he got back, Grandpa had scared it off by trying to play with it with a magazine! So now we have no idea where it is! We are defiantly keeping an eye out for that particular snake or others. As we were looking at the picture of the snake we can't really decide what kind it was, but we think it was a Baby Rattlesnake! Yeah, I think Mom and Casey aren't going to go in the backyard for awhile!

We measured where the snake was and it was probably about 18 inches long!
